Purpose and Aims of Internet Lodge
Purpose
The Internet Lodge exists to enable Freemasons from recognised
Constitutions around the world to come together for Masonic purposes and
personal friendship within the setting of a regular Lodge under the United Grand
Lodge of England.
Aims
- Universality
To foster Masonry Universal by enabling members of the Lodge to
communicate and exchange ideas on a world-wide basis and to promote wider
understanding of Freemasonry as it is practised in different Constitutions.
- Collaboration
To provide an Internet-based environment in which members of the Lodge can
work together and carry out Masonic research and collaborative projects across
international boundaries.
- Education
To promote Masonic education through the medium of communication
technologies.
- Progress
To focus on the future of Freemasonry and in particular to lead the way in
the use of new technologies for Masonic purposes.
